Greetings this fine Thursday morning from
The Dirty Half Dozen
who are loving being around so much family.
And after 13 hours in a car ... and 1,000+ miles on the suburban ... and an exausting, 18 hour day in Seattle visiting people and places so dear to me, I can say that every bit of it has been worth it.
Because after seven years ... I'm home.
And we've been able to give sticky hugs and kisses to them ...
... and talk about really-cool-motorcycle-racing-guy-stuff with him ...
... and feed the seagulls at Ivar's with him ...
... and eat cookies and jump on the trampoline with her (in front of his old red truck) ...
... and watch salmon being thrown across the market by him ...
... and go for tractor rides in the front yard with him ...
... and fly like jet planes with them.
And if I were home and could pull more pictures off my hardrive, you'd see how much fun we had with cousins from Arizona jumping on trains and climbing up slides.
This week has been nothing short of wonderful ....
